Responsibilities at Reno Lumber: His responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing the sales team and their objectives and he continually works for future growth. He also helps build and maintain relationships with customers and supplies lead and manage the culture, and works to keep Reno Lumber visible in the community.

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I enjoy working with a fantastic team at Reno Lumber and love to interact with our customers. It’s exciting to work in an industry that is so instrumental in our region’s growth and progress.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I enjoy spending time with my family, playing a little golf, as well as hunt and fish. I also getting out and exploring our states rich industry.

Julie Gilinsky - Office Manager

Responsibilities at Reno Lumber: She handles accounts receivable, accounts payable, controller and human resources.

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I enjoy several things about working at Reno Lumber. I guess that’s why I’ve spent the past 18 years here. Most of all, I enjoy the people. The customer and co-workers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with are some really great people.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to get together with our friends and ride through the desert on our R2Rs. I enjoy camping and sitting around a campfire listening to my son and his friends play guitar.

Rich Weir - Assistant Manager | Purchasing Manager

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I have a feeling of value supplying quality products and service to our customers. We have a casual environment at Reno Lumber.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I like to play a little golf and need to find some water to go fishing.

Harvey Moss - Yard Manager

Responsibilities at Reno Lumber: His responsibilities include load and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and truck equipment maintenance. He also supervises two shifts consisting of 14 yard emp and 6 drivers, and dispatch.

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I like being outdoors, relationships with employees and customers. It’s a great company to work for.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I enjoy spending time with family, going on vacations, I enjoy sports, cooking, and relaxing.

Michael Krohn - Account Manager


Responsibilities at Reno Lumber: Working with contractors and framers with regard to lumber needs, soliciting new business, and keeping up with information on new or future projects.

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I enjoy customer service and bringing new customers to Reno lumber. This is a good group of people to work with.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I enjoy spending time with my family and golfing.

Jake Davis - Account Manager


Responsibilities at Reno Lumber: I generate new sales, as well as maintaining sales within existing contractor accounts. I also keep customers informed on the latest products, pricing, and current market conditions.

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I really enjoy the relationships with my customers. Helping contractors/framers complete their projects successfully is something I take great pride in.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I enjoy spending time with family and friends camping, fly fishing, snowboarding, and golfing.

Brenda Noell - Sales Coordinator

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I enjoy dealing with contractors who enjoy their jobs by creating and building something new. I also love learning something new every day about lumber.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I like playing board games with my family, spending time with my cats and dog, and working around my house and yard. And I like drinking tequila!

Christine Catto - Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities at Reno Lumber: She writes up quotes, orders, does invoicing, walk-ins, and phones.

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? Working with customers I have known for the past 15 years here in Reno, as well as lumber wholesalers. I have worked with lumber since my career started almost 40 years ago.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I like riding my motorcycle, travel and experience with different cultures. I also like flying with my brother doing acrobatics!

Amanda Curlee - Sales Coordinator

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I enjoy interacting with all the customers and coworkers. There’s always something new to be learned in this business.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I like to spend time with my friends and family, as well as fishing trips.

Stephanie Jack - Receiving / Sales Administrator


Responsibilities at Reno Lumber: I invoice trucks for delivery, receive new material deliveries, and sales.

What do you enjoy most about working at Reno Lumber? I love that I get to work in the industry of which I was raised; I come from a long line of carpenters. I am also so happy to work with such great people and I enjoy coming to work every day.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? When I’m not at work, I like to spend time with my husband and family. I like to go to baseball games and have cocktails on the patio.
